Freedom Song

    is for All

               Perspectives  of  Freedom

Throughout the history of our Nation, Freedom has been viewed as a profound principle and aspiration to pursue.  However, Freedom has not been fully realized and lived by all.   Peoples of Our Land have experienced the opposite realities of both hopeful progress and dreadful digressions--And these often at the expense of those oppressed by people in more-powerful positions.   Remarkably, despite the accounts of tremendous suffering and pain, freedom, honor, and forbearance have endured within many.  These attributes have persisted in their hearts, and have carried them through.  Consider:  If we are not all allowed to live free, how free are we as a Nation?   Do we not all live in and share the same Land?

Freedom  has been invisioned by many who have labored tirelessly to see its reality in the lives of fellow citizens.  We have tragically seen some in authority pulling freedom away from others.   Yet, through courage, the pursuit of Freedom continues, and inspires a re-shaping of social norms.  Trust, also, is an important foundation in promoting individual freedoms.  Consider:  How might one see the patient endurance of others as an offering  of trust?

Freedom has its place socially and politically, yet is most greatly substantiated spiritually.  At its foundation, it is offered to humanity by Heaven's Authority,  while perceived and recognized in the hearts and minds of humankind.  So powerful is this pursuit, that it has stirred and steered the willful actions and demonstrations of the utmost contributions and sacrifices offered among fellow citizens.  Consider:  Since we are endowed by Our Creator to have certain unalianable rights, isn't  Freedom a gift to all?

Even amidst oppressive conditions, Freedom can be perceived, attained, and lived.  It shines the Light of Truth even during dark times.  It brings hope and song to those who look for it and live it.  Hence, freedom is most attained and enjoyed when diligently appreciated, sought after, and revered.  Perhaps the reality of our current Freedom is due, in great measure, to the sum of the many who have lived their free-est life possilbe, and truly done their unique part.  Consider:  How has your life of  Freedom  been influenced by those before you who lived for Freedom?

Inasmuch as Freeedom is a reflection of Truth and divinity, it has been compromised and withheld, in part because of fears, insecurities, prejudices, selfishness, and greed.  Yet, with perserverance, Freedom is realized.

Whether they be considered as controversial or honorable wars, we must acknowledge those who have given part, or all, of their lives during these difficult periods.

Service Members have paid an enormous price for the sake of  Our Country.

The amount of  Freedom we now enjoy is a direct, relational outcome of the individual sacrifices made by each one.
